Osama is Dead … Let Us Not Rejoice

Let us raise our glasses and toast Navy SEAL Team 6 on a job very well done.
Today is a day that is certainly a remarkable event in the global struggle to defend free societies from the tyrannical goals of outside forces. But it is also a day to act with dignity and class, not the excessive displays of false patriotism seen in many parts of America today. Union forces scored a victory at Gettysburg, but Lincoln didn’t go to dance on the graves of the Confederate soldiers, instead he went to dignify the sacrifices made by Union armies in triumph.
We should all learn from Lincoln.
Just a boy from small-town western New York (Batavia) with strong convictions and a desire to express my opinions. I'm married and have a daughter with whom I am taking great pains to brainwash into my way of thinking (so far with great success).
Though I am a software engineer by day, I read a great deal about current events, history, and economics and philosophy. I'm certain that many of my former teachers will be pleasantly surprised to hear this. I've grown very interested in trying to help educate others about the liberty guaranteed to us in the United States Constitution and the economic theories on which this Country was founded.
