For What is Weiner Going to Rehab?

US Representative Anthony Weiner, Democrat from New York, is checking himself in to rehab for “treatment.” What is he getting treated for? Being a pervert? Being a liar?
Frankly, I don’t believe either one is a “curable” affliction. They are, simply, character flaws.
We all have character flaws, but if I’ve got to be represented in Congress by someone, I’d rather be represented by a pervert who’s veracity is never in question as opposed to a “normal” liar whom I can never trust.
Best of luck to Anthony Weiner in his treatment, but I’d be much happier if I never saw or heard from him again, “cured,” or not.
Just a boy from small-town western New York (Batavia) with strong convictions and a desire to express my opinions. I'm married and have a daughter with whom I am taking great pains to brainwash into my way of thinking (so far with great success).
Though I am a software engineer by day, I read a great deal about current events, history, and economics and philosophy. I'm certain that many of my former teachers will be pleasantly surprised to hear this. I've grown very interested in trying to help educate others about the liberty guaranteed to us in the United States Constitution and the economic theories on which this Country was founded.
