undeniable underlying truths

I Believe

Posted By Alan Partis on January 18, 2012

I believe in liberty. I believe in self-determination. I believe in personal responsibility. I believe in the limitless human imagination and fundamental drive to make a better world around them. I believe it is the sin of blasphemy against God and Nature for one man to put a limit or a burden on another; it is presumptuous for one man to assume, for himself, the role of God on Earth.

I also believe that civil societies are best formed on the basis of voluntary cooperation. I believe that man is imperfect and that all men, from time to time (and some more than others), will fail to meet these ideals, but on balance will be a greater force for good than for evil.
