I contend that today’s liberal and progressives, due to the general dearth of their critical thinking skills, are actually quite blind to the reality around them. So why do I think Roland Burris is an idiot? Simple. His actions either prove he’s an idiot, or they prove that he thinks all his supporters, and the folks in Illinois, are idiots and will believe his protestations of innocence even in the face of the body of evidence and facts out there that say otherwise.

Even though Lloyds of London has insured Jennifer Lopez’s derriere, they don’t expect to hear from her after every meal she eats or after every workout she misses. They only expect to write a large check if an unfortunate incident involving a large truck and the back seat of her car leave fitting into her size 4 jeans a distant memory.
